Our People Make the Difference

Frederico Moura, Project Manager, Nova Lima, Brazil

How long have you worked for Unisys? Since April 2013, almost 5 years.

What is your favorite part about your job? I get to help people in the Agile transformation and foster the evolution of their professional career for those that are working with me.

What do you wish other people knew about Unisys? I wish that people knew that today’s Unisys is focused on bringing more value to our customers and we maintain excellence in the work we do. We still have great products and expertise in the service we provide. We also have and foster talented people here.

Beyond spending time with your family, what else do you enjoy doing when not at work? In my free time, I enjoy the following three things: sports, reading, watching tv shows or movies.

Do you have an unusual hobby or pastime? I don’t know if it’s so unusual, but maybe it is to some. I’m a triathlete. I spend a significant time training for the three modalities of a triathlon. Last year I competed in five triathlon competitions. One of them was a half Ironman, and to be prepared to do this, I trained in 304 days – 7,460 kilometers cycling, 803 kilometers running, 256 kilometers swimming and almost 100 hours of weight training. In 2018, I'm already enrolled for two competitions – one half Ironman in April and one marathon in Chicago in October. If you’d like to know a little bit more about my training routine, I share some moments on Instagram.

What was the best, most meaningful vacation or trip you’ve taken, and why? I can definitely say my vacation to New York in 2016. I had the opportunity to share some experiences with my wife that I had dreamed of since I was young – like seeing the Empire State Building and Times Square, running in Central Park, visiting the Statue of Liberty, walking on 5th Avenue and feeling like part of the United States culture. This may be considered silly for some people, but for me and my wife, it was an amazing experience.
