Participate and win cool prizes in the #WhackySolution Twitter Contest for Cloud 20/20 Year 8!

  1. Twitter Contest:
    1. Come up with original innovative global or local solutions for widespread problems. Problems will be posted weekly from Mar 13 – Mar 26
    2. #WhackySolution – Participants must post a crazy but viable solution (without duplication.) Solutions must be original and brief enough to be tweeted and include #WhackySolution
  2. Frequency: Weekly. One problem posted weekly
  3. How to participate: To participate you must first LIKE and/ or FOLLOW one or more of the following:
    1. You will then need to participate in our weekly #WhackySolution contest by posting relevant and original answers to the weekly problems; ensuring that your answer features the hashtag #WhackySolution
    2. Responses should be limited to 140 characters for Twitter
    3. Participants must share original, innovative solutions for weekly problems. Only one original entry allowed per person.
  4. Time Period: March 13 – 26, 2017 (2 weeks)

Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to the “Unisys India Cloud 20/20 Year 8 #WhackySolution contest” and by participating in the contest you will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted the following:

1. Contest Period
The contest will begin on March 13, 2017 (11.00 AM) and end on March 26, 2017 (12.00 AM) ("Contest Period").

2. Eligibility
Entry is only open to entrants aged 18 years and over. The contest is open to the general public who are Facebook Fans, LinkedIn and Twitter followers of our official pages. The contest is open to citizens of India, permanent residents and foreign citizens residing in India only.

3. How to Participate in the Campaign

  1. To participate you must first LIKE and/ or follow one or more of the following:
  2. You will then need to participate in our weekly #WhackySolution contest by posting relevant and original answers to the weekly problems; ensuring that your answer features the hashtag #WhackySolution
  3. Responses should limit to 140 characters for Twitter
  4. Participants must share original, innovative solutions for weekly problems. One entry allowed per person.

4. Prizes

  1. The weekly prize for each of the winners will get Unisys goodies.
  2. Unisys may, at its sole discretion, substitute or replace any prize with any other prize of equal or similar value (in kind) selected by it without prior notice. Unless otherwise indicated by Unisys, all prizes are non-transferable and are not exchangeable for cash or for any other item.

5. Notification to Winners

  1. Winners’ names will be posted on our official Facebook, LinkedIn Pages and Twitter Handle.
  2. The winners will need to share their full contact details through direct message feature on Twitter.
  3. They will then be contacted by Unisys India through e-mail and/ or phone.
  4. Unisys shall not be responsible for any delay, loss, non-delivery of this communication.

6. Winner Selection

  1. The weekly award will be for the most original, innovative and relevant solution to the problem posed.
  2. This is a game of skill. The selection of winning posts shall be done by a Unisys panel and their decision is final. Every responses will be reviewed by the Unisys panel.
  3. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
  4. One winner for each week will be announced on March 31, 2017.

7. Other terms and conditions

  1. Unisys reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who is not a fan of the Unisys social profiles.
  2. The contest dates are subject to change and you would be intimated in case of change.
  3. By entering the competition, you hereby confirm that participation in the competition and/or acceptance of the prize does not violate your organisation’s internal policies –Unisys reserves the right to declare such entrant ineligible from participating in such circumstances.
  4. By accepting the prize, you will be deemed to have granted Unisys the right to use and publish your name and picture in such media as Unisys may choose (including but not limited to the internet) for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consent.
  5. Unisys reserves the right to suspend or terminate the contest or amend these terms and conditions at any time for any technical or commercial reason. Any amendment to these terms and conditions will be published on one or more of the official Unisys social media channels.
  6. Weekly problem will be posted on March 13 and Mar 20, 2017 at 11.00 AM. All entries received by March 19 and March 26 respectively (12:00 AM Indian Standard Time) will qualify for the contest. Winner will be selected based on the most original and innovative idea. Details on the results will be published on Unisys Twitter handle, Facebook and LinkedIn pages.
  7. The winner shall be required to provide self-attested proof of identity (Driving License /Pan Card/Passport/Ration card/Aadhar Card), and all other necessary documents to claim their prize.
