Introducing Dell EMC VxRail for the ClearPath
Software Series

As partners for over two decades, Unisys and Dell EMC™ have collaborated on a number of joint solutions that provide business-critical support in some of today’s most demanding environments.

And now, we’re happy to announce that this long-standing partnership has resulted in another innovation: Dell EMC VxRail for the ClearPath® Software Series.

With this new solution, you can run the ClearPath MCP Bronze and Silver products in the Dell EMC VxRail environment.

Built on the Dell EMC VxRail hyper-converged infrastructure appliance, the solution brings the appliance’s ability to simplify and extend VMware® environments into the ClearPath Forward™ infrastructure. This unique combination delivers the robust scalability, availability, data integrity, and secure transaction processing capabilities you need to modernize and standardize your IT operations – and maintain the continuity and business logic of your applications.

This way, you can transfer the MCP environment’s core advantages into a VMware infrastructure. You’ll have the freedom to move a running MCP instance from one system to another without stopping it, making it possible to perform hardware and software maintenance without experiencing any downtime in your MCP environment.

In addition, you can virtualize and consolidate your MCP applications in the same Dell EMC VxRail system as your MCP operating environment. This way, your MCP footprint – core applications alongside such solutions as Enterprise Output Manager, Agile Business Suite (AB Suite®), and more – can take advantage of the simplicity of the Dell EMC VxRail operating environment, helping you eliminate the costs and complexities associated with multiple backup systems.

Fully tested by Unisys – and fully supported by the Unisys and Dell EMC partnership – the solution leverages industry-standard IT infrastructure, tools, and services, along with state-of-the-art high availability and disaster recovery measures, to help you reduce business risk and shorten time to market.
