Enterprise Output Manager 13.0 Is Here!

We’re proud to announce the availability of Enterprise Output Manager 13.0!

This new version of our comprehensive output-management solution features a wide array of enhancements that work together to make it easier for you to deliver output where you want, when you want, and to whom you want, freely transform this output as needed, manage document workflows, and monitor your print environment from a single point of control.

Important updates added into Enterprise Output Manager 13.0 include:

• Mobile EOM: With Mobile EOM, you can use a mobile device to search for, access, and print files posted through the Web Assistant to any printer configured in the Output Manager Server. Once you select a document to print from your mobile device, you’ll also be able to set the number of copies, page range, and simplex or duplex settings for that job.
• Enterprise Content Management integration: With this new feature, you’ll be able to seamlessly integrate Enterprise Output Manager with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software or any other solution that implements ECM standards, making it possible for Enterprise Output Manager functionality to be used by ECM solutions.
• Native PDF printing: Now that Enterprise Output Manager includes PDF file printing as a built-in feature, you’ll have the freedom to schedule a PDF print job directly from the solution – and be able to configure the page size, paper source, duplex options, orientation, and page scaling before you print the document.
• Security enhancements: Enterprise Output Manager 13.0 includes several new security enhancements. For instance, you can now transfer files to an FTP site using the using the SFTP/SSH protocol, secure your communications with SSL and TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, or TLS 1.2 protocols, and choose either the SHA1 or SHA2 Hashing Algorithm when generating Certificate Signing Requests.
• Web Assistant enhancements: We’ve updated the Web Assistant in Enterprise Output Manager 13.0 with a number of important enhancements, including the ability to integrate it with any application that understands RESTful services. With the help of this integration, you can develop a custom user interface for the Web Assistant. In addition, the Web Assistant gives you the flexibility to select multiple files in the File Finder Search Result page and download them as a ZIP file. And, you’ll also be able to identify any customizations added to the Web Assistant database and preserve them during an Upgrade or Load operation.
