ClearPath OS 2200 Application Discovery in a Few Clicks

Called Enterprise Storage Pundit (ESP-Dorado), the tool features a graphical dashboard that allows you to monitor all aspects of your disk and tape assets. Its interactive charts reveal dynamic and customizable file, element, and tape lists, and can be drilled into to display source code or interact with Unisys Demand editors or the ClearPath OS 2200 IDE for Eclipse™ to edit the source code.

It also includes a search engine feature that supports system-wide content discovery through the use of keywords and filter criteria, accelerating application development, discovery, and maintenance. It also helps new members of your team jump-start their productivity by enabling them to view application information in a modern, intuitive, industry-standard format and drill down from files to code and run scripts.

ESP-Dorado makes this possible by providing:

• An OS 2200 Agent that captures OS 2200 disk and tape activity and forwards it to the Repository Server for near-time maintenance processing
• Collector Services that harvest and maintain a record of OS 2200 host assets and work with the OS 2200 Agent to provide an organized version of the original information

Beyond these core capabilities, ESP-Dorado includes additional management features that make it easy to:

• Bookmark findings for easy recall
• Create tasks with associated bookmarks for workload dissemination
• Export or print list information
